Product Details

The KJams Saturator pedal adds detail, warmth, harmonics, and compression to your signal, making it
sound richer and fuller. Saturation is a form of mild distortion, where the amplitude of the wave is
softly limited. Some artists use the Saturator as an always-on pedal, a kind of secret sauce. Bassists
love it to give their signal more presence in the mix. The Saturator has active bass and treble controls to
help you sculpt your sound.

CONTROLS
PROGRAM TOGGLE
-Sigmoid (up). Based on an S-shaped compression algorithm. Sigmoid has a little rounder
sound with more compression and harmonics
-Inverse (down). Based on an inverted 1/x algorithm. Inverse is a little brighter and clearer
Footswitches

FOOTSWITCHES:
-Bypass is a standard Bypass/Enable latching switch. It is true bypass.
-Boost turns on a 4.5dB boost on the output of the pedal allowing you to drive just a little harder.
Pots

KNOBS
-Saturation sets the amount of saturation. CW is more. It even gets into some distortion.
-Bass and Treble are active controls. Mids are at a set level. At noon, Bass and Treble are even with
Mids. CCW reduces Bass and Treble, and CW increases them up to 6dB above mids, so you can get a
very present or scooped sound.
-Volume sets the output level, from off to about +10B.

JACKS
-In and Out are standard mono, right to left.
-Boost is parallel with the built-in Boost footswitch, connect to a N.O. remote footswitch.
-Saturation is an expression pedal input. It replaces the middle/lower control, Saturation.

OTHER
-The LED turns on when the pedal is engaged. It dims to give an indication of the amount of Saturation,
and blinks when Boost is engaged.
Power
-Input power is standard center-negative 9VDC. Please do not use higher voltages.
-The pedal draws 62mA.
-The pedal is designed and assembled in Holland, Michigan, USA.
-It is based on the popular Spin FV-1 DSP chip.
-The face plate is solid wood, so the grain in each piece will be unique.
