The KJams Vibe is a reproduction of vintage vibes, but with better control and consistency. It goes beyond traditional vibes by using a Mix control to combine the Vibrato output with the dry signal, creating anything from Dry to Vibe (Chorus) to Vibrato. The Depth control goes from shallow to deep modulation. The combination of Mix and Depth controls really lets you dial in your sound. A Bright/Dark switch adds tone control.

CONTROLS

  • In/Out is standard mono, right to left.
  • Bypass is a standard Bypass/Enable latching switch and is true bypass.
  • The Speed pot sets the modulation speed unless over-ridden by the Tap switch, and vice versa. Tap twice to set the speed, or just once to get the slowest speed. An external tap input works in parallel with the onboard footswitch - it can handle a system clock, up to 5V square wave. An external Expression input replaces the Speed pot.
  • Volume sets the overall volume.
  • Mix mixes the modulated and dry signals. CCW is dry, noon is vibe, CW is. vibrato.
  • Depth sets the depth of the modulation.
  • The LED turns on when the pedal is engaged. It pulses to show the modulation speed.
  • The Bright/Dark switches adjusts the tone.
  • Input Power is standard center-negative 9VDC. Please do not use higher voltage.
  • The pedals draws 62 mA

Notes

  • The KJams Vibe is designed, engineered, and assembled in Holland, MI, USA.
  • It is based on the popular Spin FV-1 DSP chip.
  • The faceplate is solid wood, so each piece is unique.
